I am not a huge fan of sauerkraut but this is very tasty and you don't even know it has sauerkraut in it. I love this meatloaf!!!

Ingredients For reuben meatloaf

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 3/4 c
    oatmeal
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1
    medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 can
    (small) sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 c
    grated swiss cheese
  • little caraway seed, if desired

How To Make reuben meatloaf

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients except kraut and cheese. Put 2/3 of the meat mixture into 7 x 11" baking dish. Cover bottom and sides of dish. Layer kraut, then top with grated cheese. Pat remaining meat mixture on top and seal edges of meat. Bake one hour at 350 degrees. ENJOY!!!
