Ingredients For paleo meat loaf (gfcf)

  • 1/2 tsp
    dried sage
  • 2 tsp
    sea salt (optional)
  • 2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ground pepper
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    chipotle chili powder
  • 6-8 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 lg
    yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 c
    red cabbage chopped
  • 1/4 c
    coconut milk
  • 1 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 2/3 c
    almond meal
  • 2
    egg, beaten
  • 3 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 c
    unsweetened barbecue sauce (optional), ketchup or tomato sauce

How To Make paleo meat loaf (gfcf)

    Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • 2
    Combine all ingredients except ground beef and BBQ sauce in a large bowl, and mix.

    When well blended, add ground beef and combine together with a fork.

    Place mixture into 2 non-greased loaf pans or shape into 2 loaves on a non-greased baking pan.

    Pour sauce over the top of the meatloaf.

    Bake, uncovered, for 75-85 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 160° F is reached (or until there is no pink in the center).

    Let stand for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
