2 Tbspgarlic powder

2 Tbsppaprika

1 tsppepper

5-6 lbbrisket

1/4 cvegetable oil

2 lbonions, sliced
How To Make onion smothered brisket

1Mix garlic powder, paprika and pepper and rub into brisket.

2Heat oil in dutch oven and sear brisket on all sides.

3Remove and set aside.

4Saute onions in dutch oven.

5Replace brisket and cover totally with onions.

6Cover tightly and place in 275 degree oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
