I am a big fan of anything Disney. I've been to Disneyland and WDW more times than I can count! The only complaint is that there food is at most time mediocre. But I thought I would include some recipes of their's that are popular. This is served at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom at WDW.

Ingredients For new england pot roast

  • 1/4 c
    chopped garlic
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3 lb
    boneless beef shoulder roast
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 c
    burgandy wine
  • 6 c
    beef broth
  • 2 c
    diced carrots
  • 2 c
    diced onion
  • 2 c
    celery, cut in large chunks
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh thyme

How To Make new england pot roast

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Saute garlic in vegetable oil in a braising pan, then brown the meat. After meat is browned, remove from pan.

    Melt the butter in the same pan, then stir in flour and continue cooking until flour is lightly browned.

    Stir in burgandy wine and beef broth.

    Add carrots, onion, celery, and fresh thyme.

    Place meat back in pan. Cover and bake for 40 minutes to 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
