My family loves this. Made it today and they eat over half of it for lunch.

Ingredients For meatloaf venison/beef

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground venison
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground chuck, can use beef or even sirloin
  • 1 pkg
    onion soup mix, 2 in the box, i only use 1
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    oats, quick cooking
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    bead crumbs
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1/8 c
    ketchup

How To Make meatloaf venison/beef

  • 1
    Mix onion soup mix, ketchup,water, oats, bread crumbs, garlic and eggs together.

    Add meat and mix throughly
  • 3
    Form into loaf and place in baking pan or dish, I use a roasting pan
  • 4
    Top with small amount of extra ketchup, about 1/2 of the 1/8 cup and about half way through cooking I spresd the rest of the ketchup over the top again
