I usually use minced onion and I add garlic powder while I'm browning the meat. You can use any kind of cheese, I always use cheddar and usually sharp cheddar as that's my favorite.

Brown Beef and onion; drain. Add Salt and Pepper. Spread in greased 10" pie plate

Sprinkle with cheese.

Then beat together eggs, milk, and biscuit mix. Pour over hamburger mixture.

Bake for 30 mins.
