These are seasoned & stuffed cheeseburgers with a taste of potato, mushrooms & cheese. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I got this recipe from our grocery store.

Ingredients For game day cheeseburgers

  • 8 oz
    shredded hash brown potatoes, frozen, thawed
  • 8 oz
    swiss cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz
    baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 lb
    ground beef, leanest you can get
  • 2 - 1 oz pkg
    french onion soup mix, dry
  • 6
    hamburger buns

How To Make game day cheeseburgers

    Preheat grill to high heat.

    In a medium bowl, mix together hash browns, cheese & mushrooms.

    In a large bowl, mix ground beef with onion soup mix. Form into 6 large patties. Make a pocket in each burger, stuff with potato mixture & seal.

    When ready to grill, brush grate with oil. Cook burgers over high heat for 5 minutes on each side. Enjoy!
