Another wonderful Childhood Comfort food. This dish takes a while in prep but it's worth every moment. We always serve this baked beans, potato salad & rolls.

Ingredients For daleine's smoked bbq brisket

  • 6 lb
    beef brisket
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 c
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 2 c
    beef bouillon
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar, light
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcester sauce
  • 2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 4 dash
    tabasco sauce
  • 1/8 tsp
    paprika

How To Make daleine's smoked bbq brisket

    Mix: Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, paprika, and liquid smoke flavoring until blended.

    Rub Mixture into Brisket and Marinate overnight covered. Remove Brisket and place into pan. Cook 2 Hours in oven at 300-350 degrees, depending on oven. Do Not Cover.

    Mix: In sauce pan, Beef Bouillon, Ketchup, Brown Sugar, Worcester sauce, Garlic Salt and Tabasco. Stir to blend and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Remove brisket from pan and place into clean baking pan. Pour simmered sauce over the brisket & cover with foil. Continue to cook for an additional 2 hours @ 300-350 degrees. **At least once during this final stage, spoon sauce over brisket, cover & return to the oven
