This is an excellent recipe for the entire family. Beware, this does make alot. You could use a variety of frozen fries with this recipe. We like the potatoes O'Brien. If kids were in charge of dinner, this would be the #1 go to recipe. I found this recipe and absolutely fell in love with it.I did however tweaked it up to make my own. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Ingredients For cheeseburger and fries casserole

  • 4 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2 can
    condensed mushroom soup
  • 2 can
    condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 20 oz
    frozen french fries
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 1 c
    chopped sweet onion
  • toppings (such as ketchup, mustard and pickles)

How To Make cheeseburger and fries casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In an extra large skillet cook half of the meat with 1/2 of cup of the chopped sweet onion until brown. Drain off fat; spoon meat into a 13x9 baking pan. Repeat with the remaining meat,using another 13x9 baking pan.

    In a bowl combine the 4 cans of condensed soups. Spread over the meat in both pans. Drain the can of tomatoes and sprinkle one can over each dish. Take the shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkle one cup each over the tomatoes. Top the mixture with the bag of frozen french fries.

    Bake, uncovered,for 45-55 minutes or until fries are golden brown. If desired, serve with toppings.
