Other than Julia Child's famous Boeuf Bourguignon that I make on very special occasions.... this stew comes in second!! So delicious and so good on a cold winter day with fresh crusty bread and a salad. I hate beer but I do like to cook with it and of course I make my very popular "Beer Soap"!!! I have been making this stew for over 30 years and it really is delicious!!!
