everyone i have made these empanadas for lovessss them and begs me for the recipe or to make some for them :)

Ingredients For baked not fried beef empanadas

1 lbground beef
-
1 lgonion
-
3 Tbspgarlic powder
-
3 Tbsponion powder
-
5 pkgsazon powder seasoning goya
-
2 1/4 Tbspadobo powder
-
3 Tbspfrank's red hot
-
2 mdpotatoes diced small
-
1 pkgpastry shells goya
-
1 1/2 cwater to cover
-
1 cmexican blend shredded cheese
How To Make baked not fried beef empanadas

1pre-heat oven to 400 degrees...brown meat in a saute pan over medium heat with onions, onion powder, garlic powder, adobo powder and sazon seasoning

2once browned add franks red hot and diced potatoes (make sure potatoes are all in small cubes) and add water to cover...cook until potatoes are soft add more water if needed

3after water is boiled off and potatoes are soft add a cup of shredded yellow cheese and mix until completely melted and mixed with the ground beef

4take the ground beef and spoon the meat mixture into the goya shells and then fold over and pinch edges closed (fork works great)and place on a cookie sheet (use cooking spray first)

5place the cookie sheet in oven for 10 min and then flip them over and cook for another 5/6 min or until crispy

6take out and enjoy :)
