Ingredients For fresh cherry ice

  • 2 C. Pitted sweet cherries (reserve 4 whole cherries for garnish if desired)
  • 1/2 . Sugar
  • 1/2 C. Water
  • 2 Tbs. Lemon juice

How To Make fresh cherry ice

  • 1
    Puree cherries in blender. Add sugar, water and lemon juice. Whirl until blended. Turn the mixture over into 8x8x2-inch pan. Freeze until firm. Turn into large mixer bowl; beat until smooth. Freeze again, then beat again. Return ice to pan; cover surface with waxed paper and freeze until firm. Serve in scoops. Garnish with cherries if desired.
