Smoothies have become my go-to breakfast for busy mornings and even relaxed weekends. I mean, how else are you going to forced down veggies, fruits, and oats in one meal!? I love the ease of tossing my ingredients into the blender, fire that bad boy up, pour it up and go! This smoothies is not only delicious, but it will get your body off to a great start. The celery and spinach provide fiber and vitamins. The oats in the smoothie give a great nutty flavor and will keep you full longer. Don't be worried about the celery, the flavor is not too "green" so please don't be scared to try!

How To Make super green breakfast smoothie

  • 1
Add the orange juice and celery to the blender. You'll want to blend celery first to break it down pretty good. Then add oats and blend until pulpy.
  • 2
Add spinach and blend once more. It'll be pretty green at this point, but no worries, now comes the yummy sweet stuff!
  • 3
Add frozen fruits and blend for one minute. I used frozen peaches and strawberries. Unless you have a great blender, it takes a good minute or so to break down those fruits.

After the fruits, add in the yogurt and banana to smooth things out and add some sweetness. If you're not a yogurt fan, just add a bit of honey. Remember, that you can change up the fruits to whatever you like. I love to buy the big bags of frozen mixed fruits (peaches, mango, papaya, strawberry, banana). Whatever you love! That's the beauty of smoothies, you can make it just how you like it!
