This is a great recipe for Kahlua! I have been making it for Christmas gifts for years....well received by all. Very hard to tell the difference between this Kahlua and the kind you buy. Give it a try...very yummy over vanilla ice cream...or just to sip!

Ingredients For kahlua

  • 1 gal
    distilled water
  • 10 c
    white sugar
  • 2/3 c
    instant folgers coffee
  • 12 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    brandy
  • 8 c
    vodka

How To Make kahlua

    Simmer water, sugar, and coffe slowly for 3 hrs. Cool completely

    Add vanilla,vodka, and brandy.

    Pour in bottles or large glass container and seal with cork or lid for 1 or 2 months.
