I just invented this, but it is pretty close to the recipe in the bottle. If you want you can add more or less filtered water to alter the heat of the ginger. I like it just a little warm so I used a fair bit of water. Ginger is a good for your tummy!

Ingredients For home made ginger soother

  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 16-20
    drops of grape flavored stevia (plain is fine if you don't have flavored)
  • 1 c
    home made ginger juice
  • filtered water to fill a 32 oz. bottle

How To Make home made ginger soother

    To Make The Ginger Juice: Get a large piece of raw ginger and cut it up in small pieces. Now I use a Vita Mix Blender and it's very powerful. If you are using a regular blender make sure the pieces are small. Add about 6 cups of water to the blender and blend until all the ginger is incorporated. Then get a seive and strain the ginger juice using a ladel to push it through. I've done this dozens of times and it works great.

    Once you have your ginger juice all made then put it into a glass container.

    Put the lemon juice and stevia drops into your 32 oz. bottle. Add the 1 cup or your ginger juice and fill to the top with filtered water. Shake it well and take a swig.

    If it's too strong add more water. It's that simple and it's so good for your tummy.
