Ingredients For strawberry ice tea

  • 1/2 pkg
    fresh strawberries
  • 6
    black tea tea bags
  • water
  • 1/2 c
    sugar

How To Make strawberry ice tea

    What to do with leftover strawberries? Place 1/2 pkg. sliced strawberries in sm. stainless steel pot w/ 2-3 tbsp. Sugar bring to a boil. Then refrigerate in pretty jar of your choice. Add a few strawberries to ice trays filled w/ water to add to iced teas. Also use as syrup over fruit desserts, waffles or pancakes.

    Fill 1-1/2 qt. stainless steel pot w/ 3/4 water then bring to a boil. Add 6 bags of black tea. Let steep at least 10 minutes or longer.

    pour over ice filled glasses or lg. pitcher. Drink slowly allowing strawberry flavor to permeate for a delicious extra special iced tea.
