coffee concentrate for iced coffee & coffee recipe

Saw a recipe on duke&duchesses.com for coffee concentrate. The method and amount of coffee grounds seemed nuts so I created my own with a smoother system and 1/2 the grounds.

Ingredients For coffee concentrate for iced coffee & coffee recipe

  • FOR COFFEE CONCENTRATE
  • 1/2 c
    fresh coffee grounds
  • 4 c
    boiling water
  • FOR ICED COFFEE
  • 3/4 c
    above concentrate
  • 2 Tbsp
    heaping, sweetened condenced milk
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 6
    ice cubes

How To Make coffee concentrate for iced coffee & coffee recipe

    Put the grounds in a heat proof container like a oven bowl or pot. Add the boiling water and steep two hours. After 2 hours strain in w strainer and then again with a coffee filter. Pour into a capped bottle. Put concentrate in fridge and use as desired

    To make Iced Coffee Pour 3/4 cup coffee concentrate in a large glass and add 2 rounded tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk stirring until ell mixed. Then add 5-6 ice cubes and 3/4 cup milk. mix and serve
