This might have been the worlds first and oldest flavored coffee. Wether it is or not, it's delicious and something to be sipped slowly and enjoyed. Warning: This is authentic and it's very sweet and you might want to cut back on the sugar. An Ibrik is ideal but a saucepan will do the job just fine.

Ingredients For arabian coffee

1/2 labout 1 pint water

2 Tbspground arabica coffee beans

3 Tbspsugar

1/4 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspcardamom

1 tspvanilla (no doubt a more modern addition but a delicious one)
How To Make arabian coffee

1Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and heat until foam gathers on top.

2Do not pass through a filter.

3Stir it up before you serve it.
