ruth's hot chocolate mix

My dear sweet senior neighbor always served me a cup of her hot cocoa; or sometimes I would add one tablespoon of the cocoa mix to a cup of coffee.

Ingredients For ruth's hot chocolate mix

  • 1 box
    8 oz. size of instant milk
  • 16 oz
    nestle's quick cocoa (regular or sugar free)
  • 1/2 box
    powdered sugar (1/2 lb.)
  • 1, 6 oz. jar
    pream (or other dry coffee creamer)
  • 1/3 c
    hershey's cocoa

How To Make ruth's hot chocolate mix

    Blend all ingredients together in a large bowl. Store in air tight canister or a 3 lb. clean coffee can.

    To serve: stir 1/3 cup of mix into one cup of HOT water. I usually microwave a cup of water for 1 1/2 minutes. Or boil water in a kettle or pot.
