I recently discovered the French 75, a potent little gem invented by a French WWI pilot who wanted to add an extra kick to his champagne. Soon it caught on with legendary drinkers F. Ingredients For french 75 cocktail

  • 1 oz
    gin (or cognac)
  • 1/2 oz
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz
    simple syrup (or a bar spoon of fine sugar)
  • champagne to fill the glass

How To Make french 75 cocktail

    Shake the lemon juice, sugar and gin (or Cognac) in a shaker full of ice, strain it into a chilled glass, and top it off with chilled Champagne.
