My family and friends have enjoyed this recipe for many years. An alternate recipe substitutes 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk for the evaporated milk and sugars. Slainte.

Ingredients For doyle's homemade irish cream

1 can(12 fl. oz.) evaorated milk

4 ozirish or rye whiskey (use more or less to taste)

1/4 tsppure vanilla extract

1/4 tspalmond extract

2 Tbspunsweetened chocolate (finely grated)

2 Tbspcocoa powder (100% cacao; unsweetened)

1 cheavy cream
-
1/4 cbrown sugar

1/4 ccane sugar
How To Make doyle's homemade irish cream

1Grate the unsweetened bar of chocolate into shavings.

2Blend the remaining ingredients until well mixed.

3Fold in the chocolate shavings and blend again.

4Chill well before serving. Keep refrigerated.
