planter’s punch (missouri)

review

Served by the glass, pitcher or punchbowl, this modern translation is based on the centuries-old, easygoing recipe that combined richly flavored run with lime juice, sugar and loads of ice. Today, bolstered with apricot brandy, coconut rum, and bitters, today’s version proves that there’s nothing wrong with a little experimentation. Beware of this one, however, it goes down so easy and mild that you will want another and another, but...it will sneak up on you.
