I was thoroughly enchanted with the story behind this recipe, so I just had to make it and see if Miss Lou was right. She was! This is a great bread pudding, and so easy to make.

Ingredients For "miss lou's bread pudding to make you well" (tnt)

  • 6 well beaten eggs
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup sugar

How To Make "miss lou's bread pudding to make you well" (tnt)

    Combine eggs, butter, half and half, milk and sugar. Add hamburger buns. Place in a greased 9 x 12" baking dish. Sprinkle with mixture of topping ingredients. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
