Ingredients For deluxe apple pie

1pastry for 2 pie crusts

1 csugar

2 Tbspflour

1/8 tspsalt

1/2 tspcinnamon

4 ctart apples, diced

4canned pear halves cut in pieces

2 Tbsprum

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make deluxe apple pie

1Line 9 inch pie pan with pastry; refrigerate until used.

2Mix sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon; add to apples and mix thoroughly.

3Set aside.

4Crush pears and spread in bottom of pastry-lined pan; sprinkle with rum.

5Heap apple mixture over pears; dot with butter.

6Put on top crust; seal and crimp edges; cut slits for steam to escape.

7Bake at 400 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.

8Serve warm.
