THIS IS MY MOTHER IN LAW'S RECIPE AND EVERY HOLIDAY SHE WOULD ALWAYS MAKE 2 CHOCOLATE PIES, LEMON AND PECAN. THE CHOCOLATE WAS ALWAYS THE ONE WE FINISHED OFF FIRST. IT HAS SUCH A RICH CHOCOLATE FLAVOR TO IT. I HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS IT JUST AS MUCH AS ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAS.

1 chershey's cocoa

1/4 tspsalt

6 cmilk

4eggs

How To Make chocolate pie

1BAKE PIE SHELL AND SET ASIDE TO COOL SIFT TOGETHER IN A POT 3 CUPS SUGAR, 1 CUP FLOUR AND 1 CUP HERSHEY'S COCOA AND 1/4 TSP SALT

2BEAT TOGETHER 1 1/4 CUPS OF MILK AND 4 EGGS ADD TO POT AND MIX WELL. THEN ADD 4 1/2 CUPS MILK STIR AND COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL THICK

3AFTER PUDDING IS COOKED ADD 1/2 STICK OF BUTTER AND 2 TEASPOONS OF VANILLA AND STIR WELL.

4IF YOU PUT A PIECE OF PLASTIC WRAP DIRECTLY ON TO THE PUDDING IT WILL NOT LEAVE A FILM ON THE TOP OF YOUR PUDDING.

5REMOVE POT FROM STOVE AND PLACE IT CAREFULLY IN A SINK OF ICE WATER FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES AND IT WILL CUT YOUR COOLING TIME IN HALF.

6WHEN PUDDING IS COMPLETELY COOLED POUR INTO COOKED PIE SHELL

7PLACE WHIPPING CREAM IN A BOWL ADD 1 TO 2 TABLESPOONS OF SUGAR AND WHIP UNTIL THICK. SPREAD ON TOP OF PIE. THIS RECIPE MAKES 2 PIES
