After my oldest son had a taste of this pie, he requested it for his birthday each year instead of a cake. It is really rich.

butter or margerine, softened
1 c

sugar
3 Tbsp

flour

eggs, beaten
1 c

buttermilk
1 tsp

vanilla
dash

How To Make buttermilk pie

Cream butter and sugar together.

Add flour and beaten eggs and mix well.

Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes, until set in the middle.
