This recipe is from an old Church recipe cookbook. I am looking forward to making this soon as it reminds me of what my Mom used to make and it sure was delicious!

Ingredients For sweet pickled peaches

  • 1 can
    peach halves, reserve the syrup
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    cloves
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • 2 stick
    butter

How To Make sweet pickled peaches

    In medium saucepan, boil peach syrup, vinegar, brown sugar and spices for 5 minutes.

    Add peach halves. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
