I found this recipe at www.yourhomebasedmom.com. I've become addicted to these bars and have been making them at least once a week. I did tweak the recipe just a little and use 1/2 c of the crumb mixture for the topping instead of 1/4 c. I think they look better that way. You can use homemade Dulce de Leche or store bought. Fortunately, the store I shop at carries it. You will usually find it next to the sweetened condensed milk in the baking aisle

Sprinkle with toffee bits and chocolate chips. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.
  • 8
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown
  • 9
Let bars cool and then cut. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
