I love the combination of apples & cheddar cheese. Gives a unique flavor. This is an old recipe, but I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients For apple & cheddar crumble

  • 6 c
    peeled & coarsely chopped apples (approx. 2 lbs.)
  • 1
    lemon, juiced
  • 8 oz
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese (approx. 2 cups)
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins
  • 1/2 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/3 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 c
    (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice

How To Make apple & cheddar crumble

    Heat oven to 375^. Coat a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, fold together apples, lemon juice, cheddar cheese and raisins. Spoon into prepared dish.

    In another bowl, combine sugar, flour, oats, butter and pumpkin pie spice, mix until crumbly. Scatter over apple mixture. Bake at 35 for 30 minutes or until nicely browned and apples are tender. Cool at least 15 minutes.
