It is amazing what you can create when the pantry is getting bare. That is how I created this dessert. I had 3 apples, a tube of crescent dinner Rolls, 1 can of ginger Ale, and SOME zero calorie sweetener,& butter. I wanted something sweet that would not spike my blood sugar levels too high, and this was quick and easy and really tasted great. I was very pleased with the outcome, had seen recipes before using Mountain Dew, but I only had ginger ale and it worked great. The vanilla Bean paste really added lots of flavor, and in 45 minutes dessert was served, & looked and tasted great.
