Ingredients For shamrock cookies

2 1/4 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 c(2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened

3/4 cgranulated sugar

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tsppeppermint extract

2 lgeggs
-
1 pkg(12 oz.) miniature chocolate chips, semi sweet

green colored decorating sugar
How To Make shamrock cookies

1Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine flour and baking soda in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and peppermint extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in mini chocolate chips. Chill dough.

2Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls and place three together in triangular format. Add small amount of dough for the stem. Sprinkle with green sugar.

3Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Let stand for 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
