My daughter asked me to make some cookies last night as we were all watching Netflix. She agreed it would need to be simple, as it was late in the evening. I put this together, and everyone was tickled pink with them!

Ingredients For butter rum & caramel cake mix cookies

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    rum extract
  • 1 tsp
    caramel extract

How To Make butter rum & caramel cake mix cookies

  • 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and spray cookie sheet generously with vegetable spray.
  • 2
In a stand mixer, mix the ingredients until well blended, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl. Dough will be thick.
  • 3
Make 1-1/2 inch balls and place on the cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with the palm of your hand; but don't squish them down real flat!
  • 4
Place sheet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven; they will not look brown, and don't touch them, as they will be too soft. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for about 5 minutes. Remove to cooling rack to cool. Serve! Yummy! NOTE: These would be really good with some toffee bits sprinkled on top...(I didn't have any at the time)!
