I don't know where this recipe originated but it was given to me by my neighbor in Florida and is without a doubt the best banana cake ever!! The frosting recipe is delicious!! Try it, you will like it!!

Ingredients For banana cake

1 boxyellow cake mix

1 tspbaking soda

3/4 cwater

2/3 cvegetable oil

3 lgripe bananas

1/2 cpecans, in pieces

3 lgeggs
- FROSTING

8 ozcream cheese

1/2 csugar
-
8 ozcarton of cool whip

1/8 cmilk
How To Make banana cake

1CAKE: Mix all ingredients well with electric mixer on medium speed

2.Pour into greased and floured 13" x 9" cake pan.Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Cool and then frost.

3Beat cream cheese with mixer and then slowly add sugar and milk. Beat in Cool Whip until thoroughly mixed. Spread on cooled cake.

4NOTE: the original recipe called for 1/4 c. milk but I use 1/8 c. of milk for a better consistency.
