treasure cookies

The first Christmas I was married I wanted to find a cookie that would be special for our family. I stumbled across this one and over the years have tweaked it to what I've posted. I've also made them with chocolate covered raisins, or just plain raisins. I've omitted the coconut (my son Logan doesn't like it) and I've used almonds instead of pecans. They always turn out wonderfully and don't last very long! Great with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee. I hope you love them!!!
