This recipes was a favorite for our after Church coffee meet & greets and one that my family loves. It is easy to make and as it makes quite a large number of cookies, it is great for taking to work functions, etc.

Ingredients For tea party white cookies

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    butter or margerine
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4 1/2 c
    flour

How To Make tea party white cookies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Mix all ingredients and chill until set. Roll into walnut size balls, flatten with fork. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 10 minutes or until slightly golden on edges. Makes about 125-150 cookies.
