Ingredients For spiced cookie bars

1/2 c

shortening
1 1/2 c

brown sugar, firmly packed
3 c

sifted flour
2

eggs
1 c

raisins
3/4 c

sour milk
1 tsp

baking soda
1 tsp

nutmeg
1 tsp

cinnamon

How To Make spiced cookie bars

Mix shortening, brown sugar and eggs together. Blend flour and spices together and add to mixture alternating with the sour milk. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Spread in a greased cookie sheet or brownie pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Dust with powdered sugar and cut in squares.
