Ingredients For snicker doodles cookies

  • 1/2 cup. butter @ room tempeture 3/4 cup. sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1.tsp. baking powder 1/4 .tsp. salt 1 1/3 cup.unbleached bread flour 2tablespoons sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon for coating

    Directions preheat oven to 375 degrees F. lightly grease or line with parchment paper 2 baking sheets. Beat together the butter and sugar until smooth.annd egg beating until smooth. add vanilla,baking powder and salt, then add the flour. with a rolling pin roll out the mixture on a lightly floured surface. about 1/4 in in thickness cut with cookie cutters or biscuit cutters and place on baking sheet.about 1/2 apart. sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar mixture lightly.
