The name of this cookie is nothing like the texture it is a very flavorful cookie. It was a favorite of my husbands for more than 20 years. Enjoy!

flour
1 c

raisins
1 c

walnuts

butter
1 1/2 c

brown sugar

eggs
1 tsp

cinnamon
1/2 tsp

salt
1 tsp

baking soda(dissolved in 1+1/2 tablespoons hot water)

How To Make pet rock cookies

Sprinkle 1/2c. of the flour over the raisins and nuts. Cream the butter and sugar, add the well beaten eggs. Add the remaining ingredients, folding the fruit and nuts last. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets 1 inch apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
