the only sugar cookie recipe that i remember my grandma using, when she was up at night and couldnt sleep, I remember her making these for something to do. these cookies are also addicting!

1 1/2 cvegetable oil

7 1/2 c+ 3 tbs. all purpose flour

3 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt optional

4 tspvanilla extract

1leave doubled, mix together

2roll into balls, flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar, bake 350, about 8-12 minutes.
