Ingredients For milk-bone-like doggie cookies

  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    cornmeal
  • 1/4 c
    whole milk
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 2.5 oz jar
    beef puree baby food
  • 2.5 oz jar
    chicken puree baby food
  • 1/4 c
    teriyaki sauce
  • GLAZE
  • 1
    egg (beaten)
  • 2 Tbsp
    teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make milk-bone-like doggie cookies

    Blend flour and cornmeal together. Set aside.

    Whisk together milk, water, beef and chicken puree, and teriyaki sauce.

    Slowly add flour mixture to beef/chicken mixture until a stiff dough is formed.

    Place dough on floured counter and roll out, about 1 inch/2.5 cm thick.

    Cut into shapes with desired cookie cutter and place on greased cookie sheet.

    Thoroughly mix glaze ingredients. Use brush to glaze each cut out.

    Bake at 375°F/190°C/Gas 5 for 25 minutes or until cookies are crisp. Let set overnight to crisp cookies.
