This is a Recipe I have been preparing since I was in my teens. I am so happy that for what ever reason as a young women I decided to write down some of my favorite recipes and keep them in an old recipe box that was my mom's. A very good cookie that you can do many many things with. Hence the name. My Grandaughter a true cookie monster likes to help make the cookies but she loves to eat them even more.

Ingredients For many way butter cookies

1 cbutter

1 csugar

1egg

2 tspvanilla extract

2 2/3 cflour

1/4 tspsalt
How To Make many way butter cookies

1cream butter in a large bowl mix in sugar.

2blend in 1 egg and vanilla.

3add flour and salt
-
4mix all together
-
5dough can be formed into small balls and flattened with a glass bottom.

6Or roll out the dough and cut with cookie cutters.

7bake in a 375 degree oven for 7 to 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheets.
