Ingredients For lisa's yummy oatmeal cookies

  • 2 stick
    softened unsalted butter
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    butter flavoring
  • 2
    large well beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    sifted self rising flour
  • 3 c
    quick cooking oats

How To Make lisa's yummy oatmeal cookies

    In a large mixing bowl cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract & butter flavoring. Add eggs and mix well. In a separate bowl mix together flour & quick oats. Add to the first mixture a little at a time until all is mixed well. (I use an electric mixer with regular beaters for the first mixtureand I use the dough hooks for mixing the oatmeal & flour.) Drop but teaspoons onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until slightly light brown around the edges.
