Just tried these and they turned out fabulous...so gooey and chocolatey but not thin or flat. I would add nuts to this, but my kids can't have them. My nine year old daughter can make these almost entirely on her own and they still turn out great.

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 tspalmond extract

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

3 call purpose flour

2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cwhite "chocolate" chips

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Soften butter at room temperature. Cream with sugars and add eggs, extracts, baking soda and salt. Beat mixture until smooth.

3Stir in flour, and chocolate and white chips. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges are a little brown.
