I baked this one year and they were a hit with Santa. I ran across this recipe in some of my mother's old recipes.

Ingredients For cookie candy canes

1 cbutter at room temperature

1/2 cconfectioners' sugar

1 3/4 cplain flour

1/4 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
116 oz. container of white frosting
-
1bag of m&m's milk chocolate candies for the holidays
How To Make cookie candy canes

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter and confectioners' sugar. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Form dough and roll out on a floured surface, to about 1/4-inch thickness.

2Cut candy cane shapes with a cookie cutter or a knife. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until light brown. Let cool. Frost with white frosting and decorate with M&M's chocolate candies.
