These bars are easy to make. You can substitute the peanut butter chips for butterscotch (which I like to do)if you would like.

Ingredients For california gold rush bars

  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    peanut butter chips
  • 15 oz
    can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 c
    unsalted peanuts

How To Make california gold rush bars

    In a 13x9 pan, pour melted butter evenly. Mix in the crumbs with the butter and press evenly in the pan.

    Sprinkle the chocolate chips, then the peanut butter chips. Pour the milk evenly over the whole thing. Sprinkle with peanuts. Press lightly.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Chill in pan on rack. Cut into bars.
