Recipe given to me in 1997, and has been a favorite ever since!! DELICIOUS!!

Ingredients For apricot cookie bars

3/4 c

butter
1 c

sugar
1

egg
1 tsp

vanilla extract
2 c

flour
1/2 tsp

baking powder
1/2 c

chopped walnuts or pecans
1-1/2 c

coconut
1 jar

(16oz) apricot jam or preserves

How To Make apricot cookie bars

Mix first 4 ingredients together. Add remaining ingredients till crumbly.

Press 2/3 of crumb mixture into bottom of 9 X 13 pan. .

Spread jar of apricot jam over crumb mixture..

Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over apricot layer

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Cool and cut into bars.
