My angel cookies are truly sent from heaven, my family and friends love them and are perfect for any occasion. :)

Ingredients For angel cookies

  • 1 c
    shortening
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make angel cookies

  • 1
    Cream together shortening and both sugars. Then add egg and vanilla extract.

    Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt together.

    Mix both mixtures together and form into balls. Roll in sugar and bake for 8 - 10 min at 350*
