hmmm, what's really bad for you..Bacon! how can we make it even less healthy? smother it in chocolate! I found this idea online, and a coworker liked the sounds of it. Apparently there is a whole community of bacon lovers out there just haphazardly adding bacon to everything!

Ingredients For chocolate covered bacon

bacon strips, fried crisp

semi-sweet chocolate, melted for dipping

a little shortening to add to chocolate
How To Make chocolate covered bacon

1melt semi-sweet chocolate, enough for the amount of bacon you wish to dip, and add a little shortening to smooth out the chocolate ( for instance add a tsp of shortening for 6 oz of choc. chips

2dip strips of crisply fried bacon in chocolate. drizzle with white chocolate or decorate as desired.
