This recipe came about from one of my many experiments years ago making goats milk fudge. It's a combination of three different recipes merged into one.

Ingredients For nutty toffee

1/4 cwalnuts: chopped

1/4 calmonds: chopped

1/4 cpecans: chopped

1 1/2 cchocolate chips

1 1/2 cvanilla or white chocolate chips, or milk chocolate chips

1/2 cmilk or cream (i use my goats milk)

2 cbutter, cold

2 csugar
-
2 tspvanilla

1 tspsalt
How To Make nutty toffee

1Use a butter flavored cooking spray and spray a cookie sheet. next line the cookie sheet with parchment paper, spray the paper.

2Mix the nuts and chocolate chips in a bowl. Sprinkle half on cookie sheet, set aside.

3In a heavy pot mix milk, sugar, butter, and salt. Cook over medium heat and stir constantly until boiling, lower heat a bit to a simmer and cook until it reaches @ 306 degrees or the hard crack stage.

4Stir in vanilla, now pour this onto the cookie sheet over the nuts and chocolate chips. Sprinkle remaining nuts and chocolate chips on top.

5Set aside to cool.
