Recently bought a misc. box of junk at a garage sale and this old yellow newspaper clippling recipe was in it. No name, no date was on it.

soda

FROSTING
1 stick

Mix cake ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.

For the Frosting: combine the first three ingredients boil for two minutes. Remove from fire and add pecans, vanilla and coconut. Ice cake while it is hot.
